I still have to install my tow hook too. It's just been sitting on my desk for the past few weeks.
Are you going to put it on the drivers side or passenger side?

Very nice build you have! Your carbon splitter is making me think of going that route. But I have matte black fender hashes. I'll probably go just matte on my splitter too. After having the TL1 hood insert on your car- can you notice a big difference from the stock Zl1's when your next to one?

As far as the insert goes, I have yet to park side by side with a ZL1 since installing it. Now that being said, I didn't install it to get the ZL1 look...I did it because I wanted something functional and wasn't a fan of a lot of the hoods out there currently.

got to install my new Apex Motorsports catch can on the SS this weekend. Very straight forward installation and a very sturdy piece. There was nothing wrong with my RX can...even upgraded the valve on the bottom for easier draining. just wanted to go a different route.

next step is gonna be cleaning up under the hood i think. rerouting the coolant lines, flipping the fuel rail...maybe painting the valve covers. all that good stuff

You have any more pics of that tow hook? I've not seen many with that. Where does it mount too?

I don't have any pics of where it mounts. But it mounts to the crash bar behind the front bumper cover.

Check this thread out.

There's some pics in there of where it mounts.

You have a great build going, very nice job. How is your splitter holding up? I am looking at getting.

Hey sorry I missed this. Actually the splitter is looking rough actually. Those shitty roads in mid Cali messed it up pretty good. Up since I've moved from Cali to MD I haven't had any problems. So it all depends on where you live and how you drive. But honestly think the front looks lacking without one.
