Lights on in daylight?

What lights are on in daylight?
There are Halos
There are low fog lights
There are middle lights
Then there is the headlights.

What lights are on at night?

Daytime - DRL (middle lights)

Night - Halos & Head Lights

Fogs - (bottom lights) can be turned on manually at any time

When did they change the DRLs on cars with Halos? I thought the fogs were still the DRLs on cars with the Halos.

Wonder why they don't do that on all of them.

Ok I think I misunderstood his post when he said middle light was the DRLS. I thought he was talking about the headlight because its in the middle of the Halo... My mistake I forgot the ZL1 had the extra light.

If you turn your fogs on during the day, it turns your halos on as well. So you can have halos, DRLs and fogs on all at the same time during the day with no mods. At least thats is what I think I figured out seeing my reflection in cars in front of me.

Mine are on any time the car is on, but I have JDP halos. Here is a thread of a guy wiring his halos to his DRLs:

I can also turn to the left and back will turn them on also along with tail DRL and side marker.

Or I can wire some diodes and connect DRL with Halos.

Thanks

My DRLs are not working. Nothing/no lights on during the daytime. Work nites and when I unlock the doors one of two things happens. One; the halos and DRLs turn on or two; the halos and headlights turn on, the DRLs never come on during day light. No light switch position will turn the DRLs on at nite or during the day. For the most part the switch is left in the auto mode. Once in a while I'll turn it one notch to the halos and side markers during the daytime. Getting a new tire, it found a nail, so I'll have them check the lights. Probably wait till Friday, nor-easter coming in wed/thur.

You will not see the DRL until you are moving with the car.

try to find a flat surface and try this: leave your engine on in neutral with the e-brake down (disengaging the e-brake when the car is on is the trigger to turn on the DRLs in a M6). Your DRLs should be on. If not, there's an issue.
