Mobil 1 Synthetic as recommended by the Engineers at General Motors. I will change it after the first 500 miles. Then every 3000 after that

Yeah im a royal purple man myself but will be sticking to Mobil 1 for the warranty. I know they arent suppost to be able to void it over just a different oil, but better safe than sorry. Also anyone thought about using the Mobil 1 extended performance oil?

These guys make a great lifetime filter. http://www.gopurepower.com/ Yes, they cost more up front, but they outperform ANY paper filter out there and you never have to buy one again. They are easy to clean. Maybe a little overkill for a stock engine, but since you just spent $30K+, and are spending big bucks on synthetic oil, people have a tendency to overlook the filter.

The cars come from the factory with Mobil1 synthetic???
I would use that anyway, but figured they put dino oil in at the factory (cheaper). Oh and I always use NAPA "Gold" filters.

Mobil 1 and K&N Filter, all I've every used in any vehicle.

Sticking with what works, 170,000 miles on my 2000 Grand Am and still running perfectly and always used Mobil 1 and K&N Filters.

I thought that using full synthetics to break in an engine was bad for it? Correct me if I am wrong

I will be using AC Delco and Mobil 1 as well. Did anyone else besides me get a deal on lifetime oil changes? I got a card that shows my oil changes using Mobil 1 to be $39.95 for life!!

I like Valvoline Syn Power but I'll use that or M1 by the jug.
Anyone have a pic of the filter location?

these motors are pretty well broken in from the factory. while there is a small amount of "fine-breaking" to do once the owner has the car, its not like the motors of yesterday and those built in the garage.
