which would make sense considering that the C6 Camaro is on the Alpha platform, which is quite a bit smaller than the Zeta II

I was going to get a ZL1 but when I heard about the new Corvette coming I decided to wait and see what it will look like and how much power they will have. I think the main reason I didn't jump on a Z was because my wife would of kicked my ass after I just bought a 2013 Platinum Escalade a month ago. The C7 will be my Camaros replacement..

current figures for the LT1 are roughly 450hp/450tq out of a high-compression, direct-injected 6.2L - the new LT1

Chevy is going to unveil the C7 in January but production isn't going to begin until the 3rd quarter of 2013. Now that's going to be a long wait.

If it looks like the concept, I would jump all over it. That concept car is insane!!!

And yes, supposedly it's going to be smaller and lighter than the C6.

I'm anxiously waiting to see what the uncamo'd C7 looks like as well. If it was going to look like the Concept Stingray, my mind would be made up and I'd be ready to order one, but it won't, so I'll have to wait until Jan 13 to make my mind up depending on looks AND power to weight.

according the the vette forums...its not much smaller at all...talking inch. Some have said its a tad longer wheelbase wise. Nothing certain yet that I have found. I do know they were testing the chassis under a C6 body at one time...so its close.

For me there are just too many unknowns on the C7. I like everybody else am waiting but I think the C7. the 450hp could work if the car is lighter. I mean 3000lb curb wieght and that 450 would be nice.

The ZL1 to me is the best looking camaro since 1969. the renderings of the C7 to me are not doing that. I think the C6 Z06 looks better than the C7 stuff I have seen to date to me.

hopefully there are revisions and the finished product looks better. the c7 Z06 might be the answer. the 2005 C6 does not comare in my eyes looks wise to a 2006 Z06. took them a year to get that right.
