Oh, Baylors final tune is ready as well. Ran it last night and just missed the 12's...13.06@103.19 1.82 60'

The IPF LFX car running 12# boost was there running the same but with more MPH. Air was excellent. Flashing in the latest and will see if this is the magic needed.

Who is running 12# of boost? The pully available in the kit now is 7#'s...

I don't know what he is really making but from my understanding both times Tracy and Matt were at the track and meet this guy he claimed he was making 12 psi. Could just be making it up. I dunno.

Wait what? People have been claiming 6 or 7 psi, so it is really 9 ?

LOL! All I know is the guy has a white 2012 LFX A6 w/IPF kit and he put the smallest pulley on he could and is making 12# .....have no other info than that. Car runs strong and he is happy....kicking V8 butt all over. Wasnt about to call him a lier, its his car and he is a super nice guy. He is at the track here most every T&T.

And the RX kits standard pulley is only 6#...we include digital boost guage and wideband with every system so the customers know what boost they are making. With the LFX Matt just finished tuning he said plenty of fuel available to go 8-9# so were going to pulley it for more boost.

Hi everybody !

Wrong treat here to discuss about sycrafts LFX .. but here is the reality :

please Check out Sycrafts Dyno graph on the other treat :

They stopped the run at 6800RPM and at that engine speed you get only 7PSI !

Now extrapolate the boost curve to 7250RPM .. then you will see also 9PSI !!

And .. more power i guess with 93Oct !! LFX has max power at rev limit !!

Hi ASH,

I see what you are saying. More RPM = more boost, but the stock car doesn't go up to 7250 rpm. Does the IPF tune allow the car to rev this high?

He is running 107-109 MPH with not as good of 60'. Not Sycrafts car....not sure who did his install, but he is very happy.

Now, as I NEVER go into your threads on this forum, please respect the rules and dont wreck this thread with this....as you can see, I have said nothing but good about this guys car. And ASH, you have to follow forum rules and if your promoting business you must be a paying supporting vendor....your avatar indicates you are not. We follow the rules, please do the same.

You clam a drag win over the RX car that the MAF failed on mid track in your threads....you know that is hardley a comparison. We show 1/4 mile times of the LLT and the invitation is always open to have a fair drag race any time (no one showed at the Camaro Nationals when invited....) LLT against LLT....LFX against LFX.

The more options for power the memembrs have for their V6 the better, competition is good. We would NEVER contact your suppliers and tell them not to sell you superchargers.....why is that helpfull to any of the V6 owners? You have a good system, happy customers that we dont interfere with. The market is big enough for both of us and more, thats why I help RDP, HPS, and any others developing systems.....the more options owners have to choose from, the better.

So please, show a bit of respect and stay out of our vendor threads as we do for you.

Yeah I'm a little confused, I was always thought the LFX redlined was right around 6,800. According to this it IS 6,800 redline

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_High_Feature_engine

Which would make sense as to why the dyno pull was "stopped" at 6,800.

Guess I'm just a little confused as there is contradictory numbers floating around..

Hi everybody !

Just checked twice in the stock software to clear any technical confusion :

REV limiter LLT = 7000 RPM
REV limiter LFX = 7150 RPM

Just a thought here but maybe the LLT and LFX engines that are used in Europe have a higher rev limit set in their ECU's. Could be USA has them set lower to comply with our very stringent emissions requirements.
