Anyone have any good pics of their car with the halos on at dusk? I can't really find any, I think they look pretty mean in lower light with just the halos on...

I think that if you can get the car for 2-3k under msrp, than the cost of the package becomes a non-issue. just ask SUKXOST.

But plenty of people who didn't get it, wish they had it. And spend a lot of money for a less reliable aftermarket solution. If you like them, do it the right way the first time. Get it from the factory.

Actually the aftermarket solution is just as reliable if not more and it outperforms the OEM RS lights by a long shot.

I regret not getting halos for my SS so I will be getting them for the 1LE. I thought the RS package was priced high for the halo lights so I planned to buy GM OEM lights later or aftermarket lights, but the price for the GM halos is more than the cost of the RS package and IMO all the aftermarket lights look worse. I hat that you can see the LEDs in some versions or the halo is too small in other. The price of of the package rolled into the loan is maybe $20/month. Well worth it IMO.

And about the wheels, the RS package gives you midnight silver painted wheels compared to silver painted stock wheels. The polished aluminum was over $400 more to add on at the time I ordered. So comparing lightweight racing wheels to the cost of painted wheels is silly because paint color doesn't cost anything extra for GM.

This question has been answered before. When you order RS package with the 1LE package , the only thing you do not get are the RS wheels and tires. So if the other items the RS package offers are important to you , get it , if not , don't get it.

ya its misleading that the configuration program doesnt do it correctly. way to have all that money and not afford to have someone fix it.

IMO GM should At least make HIDs a stand alone option.
I consider it a safety item especially for those of us whose night vision is not as good as it used to be.
Sure, they can make them standard...and people will be complaining that the cost went up $1300. I mean seriously, if you want them, order the package. No reason for the cost to increase for everyone.

True, but a standalone option for just the lights at a lower price then the whole RS package, maybe around $800 would be nice.

I don''t like not having fog/driving lights when you get the RS option. That's B/S!
