Factory Tune Upgrade?

With all of the new Chevy performance stuff coming out are there any rumors or hints of Chevy making a performance tune available? for those of us that don't want to void.

Not happening.

GM would have to get the new tune certified with the EPA on both emissions and MPG which isn't cheap nor easy. It's simply not worth the hassle for such a small return. GM did try this on a couple other makes and models for a short time but soon canceled the offer because it simply wasn't feasible.

Also Ford tried to do something similar with the Boss 302 but never could get it certified.

You cant beat a custom tune with a wideband connected to your car to actually determine if the changes to the configuration was effective or not.

GM fields a damn good vehicle, but there's always the 1%er that want more power. Look at the ZR1 corvette owners. You think that's enough power, and for a little while it is.................Then the mod bug bites!

GM would rather you pick your evils instead of them being responsible for them, and I think we can understand why.

For bolt ons and under when configured properly you shouldnt have any issues. You're really only adding about 10% more power.

I have a list of Mods you can do without a Custom tune but the gains are minimal and you will find yourself wanting more.

I offer Power Packages in 50 HP increments to meet most anyones budget, with the highest return on investment in the industry.

Purchase your Parts from JRE and Custom tuning is FREE, No One beats that deal.
