paint chip prevention at the drag strip

I tried posting this in the racing thread but no answers. I just know someone on C5 knows what product they were tlaking about: Someone at C5 Fest last year saw painter's tape on Ruby to prevent chips & was telling me about some kind of stuff that you can spray on to prevent paint chips taking the place of using painters tape on vunerable areas. I was kind of busy at the time & did not write it down. Does anyone know what product they were talking about & have you used it? Any down side to it?

most likely Plasti-Dip.

as it can be sprayed on and peeled off or washed off with a power washer.

Plasti-Dip FTMFW works good for those long road trips too. Just peel it off when your done. I wouldn't do it but I know it works.
