Thanks

With all the new power i would want it to get to the wheels as soon as it can.

The TCM update just by itself is worth the $ for us Auto wimps.

Sorry having way to much fun chirping gears with the Tans tune :-)

Is there any tune that has a benefit for 87 octane? 91 grade is REALLY expensive here
To fil 70L tank, would cost $101 vs $90 for 87
I've not had the chance to ask Jesse if the tune will work okay with 87 or 89 octane but I will tell you gas is $$$$ here too and I'm using 89 currently in my IPF tuned car and have had no performance issues (yet). Knock on wood. But I would ask Jesse just to confirm it.

Wow very impressive gains. Not sure if these questions have been asked so please forgive me but...

Does IPF have the transparency mode life Trifecta?

Does the IPF tune also come with the trans tune like Trifecta?

And don't you need an acutal dyno in order to tune the car with IPF?

So from what I understand Trifecta tune is going to improve for the LLT.

So are there going to be more gains?

Transparency is part of the Auto Trans TCM tune. We are waiting on information about that.

Dont need Dyno to Tune Car with these 2 that i know. However i bet the LFX with a custom tuner like HP and someone with Dyno and knowledge can make it better.

But still very nice. Gratz, Cant wait to get my SC :-)

Hey no one had answered my question if the IPF also tunes the TCM now. That alone is worth the $ on a auto :-)
TCM tune is available on the auto's.

Shifting points and shift time are improved. Feedback has been very positive from our automatic customers.

Thanks,

Jesse

Are there AFR data from the Trifecta/IPF NA runs? I'm curious as to whether one was lean, the other rich...

Yes I was VERY pleased with the performance of the shifting after installing the IPF tune. In addition to the firmer shifts, when driving in "D", the car will upshift sooner, which should help with mileage when cruising around town. But kick it down and look out! It feels in "D" now like or better than it did in "S" before.

I want to see a apple vs. apples comparison. Both running the same octane...bolt ons won't make that big of a difference on these V6's. One on 87 and the other on 91 isn't nowhere near a fair or acceptable battle. I ain't on no one tuners side, but later when some start to buying these tunes and really comparing there is going to be bashing. Both tunes also need to be like said earlier equally flashed meaning flash and ran for the same amount of time. New flashes tend to perform better than after things settle in. Just saying.

They were done with diff octane? That is a little deceptive.

IPF is designed to run on premium gas. I'm kind of doubtful that Ventmaster did a pull on regular gas w/ Trifecta, only to fill up and come back and do pulls w/ the IPF tune. I'm sure all of those runs were done while at least running premium fuel.
