If you have any specs or model numbers, that would help greatly for us to give you a recommendation.

650 actually sounds way way low to be good stuff.
nearly every quote I've had for just mids and highs and a good amp is well into the 1200 dollar range and the sub amp and box would be another 800 or so.

no that is the entire package speakers amps etc installed with a FARK.

most are wanting to use a very good 5 channel amp which every good one is about 750 by itself.
then great separates and top end sub.
easy to ring up some money when dealing with the best stuff.

Sounds way too cheap. My speaker set was $450 and I bought them wholesale. So what specific model numbers are you being quoted?

I think I spent around $870 for just my T1000-1bdCP and T800-4AD together, and that's internet prices with me doing the install. If you're only paying $750, I'd be worried that you're getting Rockford Fosgate PRIME series gear, which is basically like buying Pioneer or Sony stuff from Wal-Mart.

To put it in perspective for you, the gear in my car, not including the installation costs, was around $6500. With installation, it was closer to $12k.

If that includes everything. Then that's a PHENOMENAL price. Includes wiring, sub in a box too?

Its Rockford Fosgate all around. The price with tax was $723. I personally thing thats a pretty good deal. I went to a couple other places and this was the best. The amp is a 500 watt amp and 12 inch sub. There 6 1/2 speakers with tweeters. It also comes with a box. Other places gave me a quote with like $1200 for the exact same things. I dont know the exact model numbers.

those other estimates are about perfect for good stuff plus install.

I'm betting they are selling you the flea market specials or the absolute bottom of the line amps and speakers regardless of label.

myself I pick the model numbers and KNOW exactly what goes in my car.
