Good idea. How's the finish compared to the stock rear diffuser? I'm just looking for what looks the closest to that finish.

It won't look the same on the V6. Not saying you feel this way but I find it funny how people want splitters for the V6 and it does not look anything like the V8 version and get upset... that's because they are dramatically different front bumpers on the bottom.

On that note, they make a V6 splitter that does not lower the ride height.

In these images you can see the factory plastic air dam sitting below the splitter. It lower the very front portion of the bumper obviously since the V6 swoops back towards the car unlike the V8 version, but horizontally it is not really lower per say. Even this V8 protrudes the front lip out effectively lowering the vehicle when going up a steep driveway (lowering the approach angle), but it's not as bad as if were actually lower all the way back. You know what I mean? Anyway this would be the the V6 version of this splitter.

It's pretty close hard to compare front to back. Only difference I see is texture. I thought about Bedliner spray but was concerned about a rough finish. I wanted a smooth look and feel.

Wow....I like! and the Dupli color trim paint looks perfect to me. I'm assuming a couple coats was all that was needed?

My biggest concern is clearance. My wife drives the car as well and although she has gotten alot better lately I've found her paking job once before where she didn't think there was any issue.

Based on what I'm seeing you're saying that this spliter is really not any lower than the OEM bumper? Think if this happened again it might clear?

wife said she didn't see anything wrong and got pissed that I got pissed.

I would not invest in a splitter.... but perhaps invest in a push bar ;-)
