Thumbs up Jannetty Racing’s test of the LSR Cold Air Intake!

We are pleased to release the results of the much anticipated test of our LSR Cold Air Intake by Jannetty Racing. The cold air kit was tested with the sleeve in and no tuning.

On a stock 2012 Camaro with 5K miles he saw a gain of 9 rwhp. This was after 10 baseline runs with the hood shut and 60 mph winds blowing over the car.

Here are several quotes from Ted.
“Nice packaging and instructions and a lot of parts.”

“Assembly was straight forward; the insert was installed in the MAF housing and secured with the countersunk screw as the car is all stock no tune.”

“The fit was good”

Keep in mind this test was with no tune and the sleeve in place. We designed this intake to be used with or without a tune. This will allow the intake to grow with your mods.

Stay tuned for Jannetty’s test of this same intake with the sleeve out/removed and a tune.

We've seen approximately 30-35 HP & 30-35 ft/lbs TQ peak gains at the wheels.

No pics from the test if that's what you mean. But here's some photos of the intake:

Yes, we have. I would say that you should see around 30-35 HP & TQ to the wheels though. You may see a little more or a little less as every vehicle is different.

Here is a dyno that we did:

Sure looks to me that there is some retard starting around 4200rpm on the stock graph that is skewing the numbers, but still a solid gain and a decent looking piece.

You aren't gaining 30hp from any cold air intake alone on a stock or bolt on car... The tune is where most of the power comes from.

I have had this intake for over a year, it does what it says it does and is great! If you just read up on it, the components/design, it makes the most sense.
Brandon, have you guys tried the vararam wedge with this intake? Just curious.

Its funny, the LSR intake never made the rounds with the paparazi on here, but that never swayed me.
