Some historians say that Germany could have been taken within 2 seeks times if the Allies had hit the Normandy Beaches driving Camaros. Still others debate this school of thought.

Beautiful pics, I was there many years ago during my active navy times. You get humbled thinking on the hardship our veterans went through.

Nope, the "mail slot" is only on the V8 camaro like in North America.

In France and all other countries of Europe where the camaro is sold officially, only one engine is available which is the V8.
We can chose manual or Automatic transmission, coupe or convertible, and that's all !
The V6 engine is not sold in Europe.
To have a V6 camaro, people must import it from USA/Canada and it's a little complex...

The Europeen Camaro (V8 coupe) is sold the price of a ZL1 US Camaro
At this time the ZL1 is not sold officially by GM in Europe ! :(
Some of us regret it's not the case

The 1LE camaro is not sold too in France ! :(

In France, the worse is the next year (2013) to buy a (V8) camaro, people will have to pay an ecological tax of 6000€ (about 7800$) because the engine rejets too much CO2 ! 15% of the price !
And have to pay too the registration tax about 1500$.

To drive in a camaro, we must love it very much...

Thanks for the information I guess it is jut the pictures that make the lower grill look more narrow as it is on the V6. I knew a little of what you told me because I have a friend that recently moved back to Europe from the states. He sold his 2011 V6 Camaro because it was going to be too much expense to get it legal in France. It was a shame.

Thank you for posting the pics.

Despite what you may read in the news, I think camaro5.com shows how people from all over the globe are friendly and welcoming to each other. I appreciate everyone from overseas posting their pics of places I have never been to. Im thankful to see your landscape - and your great looking Camaros.

In France, Politicians want to kill the passion for cars, lot of taxes everywhere (on the road, when buying a car, many radars, tolls,...).
As you wrote, it's ashamed

Great car is the camaro

Hope the next gen will be amazing

In the above picture I was at the waters edge at the exact time the invasion began and took home a lot of wet sand that to this day is still moist because of the way I sealed it.
