Question New 2013 Camaro Owner. Halogen -> HID & Halo's

Hey everyone!
I am a new 2013 Rally Yellow 2LS Camaro Owner, couldn't be more happy!

I currently have the shitty halogen headlamps.

I would like 2 things:
1) DRL Halo's (<- is it possible to make the Halos always ON? I guess thats DRL)
2) HID's! When it turns dark, i have the "auto" headlights, so when it turns dark i want my actually headlights to be HIDs Im guessing 4,000K or 6,000K.

Now the technical stuff-
I would really like the Halo's to be on 24/7.. Even during the middle of the day, and the middle of the night when i have the HIDs turned on. Is that possible?

Do I actually buy seperate lights? Or does it all come in one? Halos + HID bulbs.

Last question:
WHERE TO BUY?
I want the CHEAPEST deal - it is cyber monday so i'm guessing i can get a good deal today.
I do not need color changing, just the standard white halo.. I just want the cheapest deal.

Can i buy a light module for a 2012 and will it work in my 2013??

Last question - Is there a way to get HID fog lights WITHOUT cutting into my car? ( I have the base model camaro, doesn't come with fog lights, it is just a piece of plastic. IF i have to cut - will that cancel my lease? thanks!)

Thank for all the replies / information everyone.

It is greatly appreciated!!

you leased your car? really???? why? lol considering leasing and buying works to be pretty close to the same amount, i'm not sure why anyone would do that. typically any upgrades you do to your car as long as they upsell the value you'll be fine with not getting in trouble. but technically speaking they can say something and make you put it back to stock. i've never had an issue with past cars and upgrades. but i never pointed them out to them either. and now that i own my camaro i have no worries about that anymore

$249/month + tax, $2500 out of pocket (includes 1st payment)..

Can't beat that deal! (36 months, 12k/year)

Do you know anything about the lights?

Thanks!

that is a decent deal, i guess they must have brought the leasing price down finally.
As far as the headlights go, i'm in the process of upgrading mine like you are doing. since your car is a lease i would recommend keeping your stock halogens so you can put them back in when your lease is up. AACstyle.com offers a complete HID Halo retrofit for the LS nonRS camaro. you can try them. there is also the Retrofitsource.com that offers all the parts if you wanted to do it yourself. you would have to buy an extra headlight as well.
as far as how you want it wired, that's the easy part. you can def make it so your halo's are on on the time. i don't know the specifics of how to do it. i just know it can be done

If you're leasing, you need to return the car in the same condition you got it. You'd be paying for lights you're not keeping on the car, and wasting money essentially IMHO.

or he buys a retrofit kit and put his stock headlights back on when the lease is up, and then sells the HID kit to someone else.... not 100% a waste of money. especially if he wants HID's... let him waste the money then, lol

I am going to keep my Halogen headlights and buy a whole new housing kit..

but the problem is, when i look online people are selling just the halos..

I need a whole light that is Halo + HIDs

Do you think this is them ?
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=262694

It is $329 for "BRAND NEW Non-RS Headlights with our Fusion v1 RGB Halo's PREINSTALLED "

but is this just halos and housing? No actuall HID lights?

exactly what I am going to do:

1) take out shitthy halogens
2) put in whole new headlamps that have both HALO + HIDs
3) when lease ends put halogens back in
4) sell the old halo/HIDs

What does "retrofit kit" mean?

You'd be better off getting a pair of eagle eyes off of eBay for around 300 then get a hid kit and there you go.

Hey thanks for your response!

What is the difference of Eagle Eyes and Halos?

Also, how does this look:

It is a "DUAL" CCFL halo? idk what the dual means.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2012-Ch...-/280833321576

OR this one.. It is not a "dual"

http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-11-Chevy-...2b775c&vxp=mtr

Or finally this one.. It is a "DUAL" but it also looks like it has different turning signal lights??

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-Camaro...e5a5e6&vxp=mtr

Let me know what you think, THanks!!!

Eagle Eyes are a full circle and the "traditional" halos for the Camaro isn't. Most go after the "RS" look with their halos. It's really just a preference. I personally don't like eagle eyes at all and went with a retrofit instead.

They will do all the work for you, HID & Halo & you can buy new headlights from them so you can keep your stock ones. Comes to around 900, maybe more
