offset confusion

How would the 18x10.5 +27 Mirabeau fit in the rear with 305/45/18 NT05r? Looking for a wider rim then stock that will fit about the same. any ideas.. OFFSETS make my brain hurt!

PMs sent...

18x10.5 +27 Mirabeau w/305/45/18 will land beyond the fender... You should be looking at 18x9.5 +35 for a nice fitment tucked within the fender.

No pics of the Maribeau's on a C5 car yet? Has anyone purchased any of these yet? Or do they just take a long time to get?

You van run up to 285/40 or 295/35-- both will furnish aggressive fitment.

I have a set, but working on some cosmetic parts and didn't want to post pictures until I finished it completely. Here is one anyways, my car is a little dirty tires are not cleaned so they don't look as good. Also not the best picture...

Thumbs up

Thanks for the pic, and your car looks good no matter how dirty you may think it is What is you first impression of the wheel quality and did they look as good as you imagined once you put them on the car? How long did it take for them to arrive?

Also what size wheels and tires are you using?

Thanks again for the pic, been waiting to see these on a car.

Shipping was pretty fast. Fedex ground, ordered and had them with in a few days.

I like them, these are the first aftermarket wheels I have ever had. Quality is good. I'm heavily considering spraying the stainless part in gloss black, just to black it out more, and possible put an IOM pinstripe on the lip. That will be later down the road, my camaro has been sitting way to long (about 5 months).

When it is complete I will have more and better pictures.

Dude,

Car looks kickass... Is it dropped?

If you paint the lip in black, don't forget to paint the caps as well.

Thanks for posting pics.

Oh very nice can't wait to get them on the car once it's put back together. Will post pics of my car soon so you can see how I got to this point so quickly.....it's not pretty. Thanks for all your help holding those for me until I got back in town and getting them shipped out so quickly. Great customer service in dealing with the shop directly and hoping everything else goes just as smoothly.

And just to confirm this sizes fit over the brembos ok and still fit tucked under the fender in the back from what I understand with the custom fitment we spoke about initially?

Thanks for all you did.

JP

Unfortunately not yet, kind of a long story but basically my car was hit while parked two weekends ago and had to replace the stock rims as 3 they were damaged so I decided to go with these instead of getting stock rims again since I was looking at getting these anyway.

Wheels are at the shop but not on the car yet so no pics available. Hope to have the car back at the end of this week but had a lot of body damage and suspension damage so not 100% sure I will get it this week.

Going to post pics of the damage and work progress soon, just want to make sure all my ducks are in a row so to speak before I put information out on a public forum. Also will do a full review of the shop that did the work so everyone can see what a good job they have done, I'm sure. Trying to stay positive about the whole situation.
