You can actually order it online now and have it shipped to your door on the 19th. Way better way of doing it then waiting in line for 5hours.

If I purchased it now it would cost me 399.00 for the 16gig :( I have to wait until 12 december to get the 199 price for the 16gig. I can wait, supposedly thatS when my camaro gets here as well.

LOOKS LIKE CHRISTMAS REALLY IS COMING THIS YEAR FOR ME!

Welcome to 2006, Apple!

Do we really need another thread about technology that's been on other phones for years now?

Yup. But it's the truth. Garmin and TomTom (as well as many others) have had Windows Mobile apps available for years.

Oh yea... TomTom didn't announce a price. Equivalent software on Windows Mobile is over $100. Since Apple is pushing out a subscription model, I'm guessing they'll go that route. How's $10/month for GPS sounding?

P.S. The Pre has turn-by-turn GPS included in all the plans on Sprint which are already cheaper than the AT&T iPhone plans.

That's semi-GPS. The tom-tom is full GPS. Most likely with voice activation, yes.
