Thanks for checking that out. Sure answers a lot. But at $40 bucks for a black ball, the white one in the kit is looking pretty good for now.

The hurst is adjustable shifter height You have threads on the stick and as for adjustable shift stops i did not think that a shifter that dos not have linkage needs to be adjustable, It is a positive stop trans and this is from the trans manufacture call for your self 1-800-401-9866.
Yes, the trans has built in stops!.. No need for those anymore in the newer trannys!

Just got my car today. The shifter is not very crisp and is a little short ( not in throw, but in height ). A shifter just became very high on my list of upgrades. Any idea on date of availability for the hurst shifter?

Yes first part of September to the 15 of September, You will see that you shifter dos not find the right gear to.

If you go to the Hurst one of the things that you will like is that the upper 1/2 is bent back so you can shift it more comfortably that is on the ball and T-Handle.

Thanks, I am so excited for this mod. I originally ordered it frm the factory, but everyones knows how that fell apart.

I am trying to improve my shifting for 1/4 mile times and can't wait to install this. I have never ran an official 1/4 mile, but have been practicing and missed 3rd gear once and missed a shifts before due to the length of the shift stroke.

Thanks for all the info on this, I just wanted to clarify that you do not need to drop the trans to install. Is that correct? Thanks again.
