Mounting 3 gauges

Hey

Going AGP TT and going to add in meth as well.

I'm going to have 3 gauges- methanol fail safe TruBoost and wideband

I know only 2 gauge pillar pods are available so I was wondering what other guys are doing.

I have an SS RS so mounting in the little tray isn't an option.

I saw a steering column bracket mount, but I think that looks tacky.

Suggestions?

One option is the pillar which is 2 gauge. You know that allready.
Another option is on top of the steering column by SLP.
Some also modify the heater opening on the drivers side.
If anybody else know other options, please chime in.

I have two on the pillar and the SLP on top of the steering column. On the pillar I also have the ALKY low level light and the light where it shows it's spraying meth. I like it I wouldn't do it any other way

Which one is that? It's not the fail safe?

I have AEM gauges on the pillar. Fuel pressure and AFR. On the steering column I got the SLP boost gauge. The ALKY system has two small lights. One is the low meth light. The other light turns on RED when meth starts spraying (say 4 psi of boost) and then goes GREEN when it's spraying to your set amount.

AEM makes a gauge that shows both boost and AFR on the same gauge.

Thanks.

The brackets are made from 1 1/4" and 1/8" mild steel ... I used a strip of aluminum from a soda can as a template to get the size/angles right.

They are held onto the hood with decal tape to prevent scratching.

They are clamped under the lip of the hood with grub screws that screw against small strips of aluminum to prevent dimpling.

The gauge pods are held on with counter sunk stainless bolts and nyloc nuts.

I made the cable cover that goes between the brackets out of a recessed sliding door handle.

Note ... They now have black screws holding the gauges in the pods!

I ran into this problem as well. I am just playing on doing either just two on the pillar or just put all of them where they would put the gauge cluster on the 2ss. Not a big fan, but it works.

Its was a one off pod for a customer. The cost to reproduce it was to high to sell them

Ya no kidding. Going turbo with meth you need three!

Personally it looks better with more.

A 2 pod pillar plus the steering column mount is 200-300.

I'd pay 400 for a 3 gauge
