The side profile of the Silverado at the front, does indeed look like a 1992 Silverado.

I do not like the 1992 Silverado because right now, every time I see one on the road, the individual who drives it either is playing his stereo way too loud, or he installed lights so bright he can see out in space, or the car just looks like the owner has no car insurance. (or all of the above.)

That must mean the SUV'S are going to look like that too. That's going to be interesting. The current 2007-2013 is very clean looking. (If you go back and forth, from a 2013 to 2014, I don't know what to say)

I have been focused on the new engines. I also liked where the door handles is on the current pre-2014 silverado. They moved the door handle up, like you are driving a Honda.

You should not have to raise your hand or arm "up" to open the door. The interior though looks good to me. To me it looks chevy-ish looking.

If you are getting a GM, it will be worth the wait.

I just hope they don't make a taller grill for the HD, this one is large enough to go even on the GM topkicks.

Are those pics the real deal or just renderings? If they are real, I like it. It looks like they did away with the rake for the most part.

I am trying really hard to like these new trucks but it's not happening. The front ends on both of them are kind of ugly I think. I much prefer the look of the Ram.

GM Reveals 2014 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra

I like them both, but the interiors will take some getting used to. I also found some 2-toned versions of them on line, and an Avalanche version. I thought the "Lanche "was dead... Check them out!

They could have released these trucks as is without fanfare of redesign, and I doubt many would have noticed much change.
Got me all hard for nothing.

I like the avalanches, I wish they would make them more of an offroad option with a bigger engine and such. Would be more fitting IMO

I like the new Silverado... not sure about the interior, though. I prefer simple, clean interiors for trucks and these new ones are busy.

On the exterior, what looks better... a 2014 CC Silverado or a 2013 CC Silverado 2500HD? I imagine there will be some good 2500HD deals...

Photoshop. Look at the door down the b-pillar. A regular cab will most definitely use the same front door as the crew cabs. Unless GM is fat, drunk and happy and willing to pay millions for a unique door on the low cost truck.

It's from the 2014 Silverado page on Chevrolet's website.

It's still a modified image. Look closely at the b-pillar just above the belt line. Clear as day to an old door engineer.

Also the upper rear corner is radiused like the rear door. It should be the same tight radius that is in the front door.

Plus it has the same background as the crew cabs just a few posts away.

Just sayin'

Well yeah. It's from the Build Your Own tool. But still shows basically what you're going to get.

Can't do that until GM releases actual photos. That's about as good as you're going to get for now.
