I had similar issues with my bank 2 sensor 2 a year ago, turned out my ecm was corrupt, a terminal in the connector was broken, and the wire from the alternator had moved and was resting against the header, which luckily for me did not melt threw the wires protective coating. I had that sensor replaced 3 times before that was figured out. Passed inspection after all that was fixed

i really think its the headers...because its too much of a coincedence the CEL would come on AFTER the header install...brand new ECM and GM flash and still popped on

I has a local garage run the car with the emissions probe last month and the car would have past if I had the readiness flags set for complete. Now that all but one is set (and you can have up to 1 not complete) I should pass !
But you never know

I passed PA inspection with Trifecta tune here are the readings of my IM since DTC cleared after reinstalling tune and driving it 200 miles.

yes GM did a splendid job with this

they opened a TAC i can share with you all if youd like...for anyone having any similar issues....i have to imagine there will be others...

for an ECM to be bad out of the box...rare...but...the 2nd new ECM seems to be a very good one as VERY spirited driving yesterday has resulted in NO CEL...

now...from what Trifecta says...the tune does not touch the ECM...but only the PCM....so since the monitors are Emissions related...and the PCM is not the Emissions computer...its my understanding that if monitors arent ready...or you have a CEL and the Trifecta tune...it wont be the tune causing the issues...

sound right? lol

anyways...since it was a bad computer...i didnt have to make any de-modifications....and once I get a sticker...(early next week-ish) ill put the tune back in....

if anyone is looking for out of this world service...and a great person to talk to about cars and who is very understanding of performance modifications...go see Nicole Sowa at Balise Chevrolet in Springfield on Hall of Fame Ave, hands down the best service experience ive ever had

Glad it's worked out. I agree with you that balise is really a great dealership. Helped me out on my vert top issues going above and beyond to get the GM service people in to help. Scott the service manager runs a great garage.

If the Emissions are just reading the OBD, but if they sniffed the tail pipe the tune could throw off the test. O2? I know only a few states do sniff. Could I be wrong???

So I logged enough miles for the Readiness Checks to complete...and I'm proud to say after 5 months of heartache...i now have a MA State Inspection sticker for 2013!
