Whats the best exhaust for the ZL1

Im looking for just the axle back setup possibly. I'm just getting in the market to get some exhaust to get this thing louder.
TIA

Unless you drop 8k for some unobtanium, titanium exhaust (if made for this car) the stock is fine and loud as it comes from GM. What are you trying to do?

I went long tube headers and factory cat back and it's awesome. Yes I throw a code. No I don't care.

But, imma say this again, if someone is really just looking for sound, SLP has shorty headers, high flow air filter, and a download tune that can be installed at dealerships without voiding warranty. How's the performance? No idea. But might give you the sound you want.

What's wrong with the stock exhaust?
Loud (relatively speaking) at idle.
Quiet when you're just cruising.
Loud (relatively speaking) at wot.
Best of both worlds IMO, and one of the great things about the car.

Just for the noise and wow factor, consider the NoWeeds cutout system.
I agree that the OEM exhaust cannot be topped much to increase performance.
Most everything else will void the warranty. And since these cars have some fairly common problems, I' m gonna hold onto mine until a few more years of experience go by.

I went with the Noweeds Exhaust Diverter system! Selling point for me was I can with a push of a button be crazy loud or anywhere in between. Then with a push of a button I can go right back to stock. No codes, and no issues from all of the guys I spoke with, some of whom have had it installed for years! I like that I can pull into my neighborhood on stock and get out on the streets be thunderous. Here's a little video my husband did of the sound, not the best quality, but it gets the point across. http://youtu.be/hSlYk6m5AVo

Not true about SLP, GM does not warranty their products and it will be on your nut unless you purchase the SLP warranty.
