Question for the group: I recently bought new rubber (G-Max AS-03) in the stock sizes (245/45ZR20 front and 275/40ZR20 rear) so, I am not wanting to buy new tires.

I know recommended sizes are:
245/45-20 = 28.7" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
275/40-20 = 28.7" tall, 9.0-9.5 wheel

Will the 20x9 and 20x10 work ok with these tires?

Thanks in advance

They will work but they will likely be stretched a little.

I agree. A lot of my questions will determine my decision but I'm really pulling for these since their are more size/color options.

I second this. I've searched in the past few weeks and came across a few older threads where people have used stock size tires for 9 and 10" wide wheels. Can anyone confirm or post up pics of what the tires look like on a wider wheel? I purchased my car in January with brand new BFG rubber on it and would not like to buy new tires. Thanks

I think the 10 inch for the back is the widest you can go with the factory size tires....but I've not heard of any one having problems with those at all.

You can go look at this thread I posted on my wheels and get a good look at them.....the rears are 10 inch and they are factory tires.....I don't think they are stretched at all.

There are several shots of them through the 4 pages.

In my particular situation (using General G-Max AS-03's), I managed to find the wheel size tolerances that General supports.

245/45ZR20 = 7.5" - 9.0" Wheels
275/40ZR20 = 9.0" - 10.5" Wheels

Check with your tire manufacturer for sizes that are supported.

I don't think the 10" is too wide. The ZL1/1LE both run 10s in the front.
