So it's best to pair the both of these for maximum gains?

Okay so i went to install the plenum spacer, the silver piece that was in there i put on the bottom and then used the spacer on top of that with permatex the right stuff attaching it to the plenum. Doing this, it was not sealing properly and you could hear it sucking in air from the plenum, it also was shaking the car and engine violently. Anything i did wrong?

One more thing is that some of the smaller 8 screws just kept spinning and never tightened...

Hum. Possible that the threads got stripped if you over tightened them. If it's not sealing then it would definitely make the car run ragged.

Pull out the PS and attempt to reinstall back to stock....see if the threads catch and if any thread pieces come out. If so, make sure they don't get into the intake.

Keep us posted and PM me if you need more detailed help!

Washers? Shouldn't need them no. You could get them at any home improvement center however. Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, etc...

Seems to be the best seller. :-) It makes power across the rpm range. The 1" really works best at higher rpms...more of a race application I'd say.

They're M8 bolts so anything that fits that would work fabulously.

Lemme know if you have trouble, I'll send some out to ya.

Ivan I got my Iceolator about 1.5 weeks ago, just waiting on getting some time to put it on. I bought a torque wrench for the bolts, 18 ft lbs correct? Do you know of an easy way to check the wrench's calibration before I start monkeying on it?

Just wanted to thank you and the folks at Southwest Speed - great doing business with you!

There should be a gauge/indicator setting on your wrench to set it to the requirement.

That's really about the easiest (only) way to do it.

Test it on another bolt, something bigger, and you should feel it "break" really easy.

Good luck, let us know if you get stumped, and thank you again sir!
