DRL wiring kit/harness

I'm wanting to run my DRL's on at the same time as when my headlights go on. I found this item http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...light-drl1.htm but it seems like i can go to a radio shack, buy all those pieces, and do it for a lot less?

a T-splitter on each end, power wire, and the ability to find the right wires?

Confirm?

You could do that, yes. The thing I don't like about that type, is it back feeds electricity to the parking lights during the day. You'd need to have diodes installed to stop this from happening. Which is why we released our DRL harness to do that exact thing without cutting, splicing, or soldering needed.

You are going to void your warranty your way. You will be damaging the wire harness. I have one . if I have problem I just take the adapter out. Now way that they will know about it.

I soldered a bypass like phastec without the connectors its all 12v so I dont think feedback will cause any harm, at worse you will power the parking lights
