Thanks! It wasn't too bad. Tips were 125 (http://tips.byethost4.com/dualpair.html). Diffuser was 476 (2SSRS makes the diffuser... check out www.gen5diy.com). JBA catted midpipes were 389 (got them from MarylandSpeed). Installed midpipes and diffuser myself. Muffler delete (two pipes, some bending, alignment, hangers, and welding tips on) was 100. I know a guy in Shreveport who has been doing exhaust work for 30 years. He helped me out a little bit. And all prices included shipping. So total = $1,090. Not too bad for what she sounds like now...

I'm guessing your car was NOT equipped with the NPP?

Nope. I was planning on doing aftermarket when I ordered so I decided not to spend money on something that would have been coming off within the first month anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love the npp exhaust. Just not loud enough...

Light Installs

Installed:

LED dome light (much brighter than the stock bulb. love the color. at first, it seems a little weird because it doesnt seem like natural light, but after a while, you get used to it.)

LED trunk light (not that big of a difference in light intensity. color is certainly different though)

LED license plate lights (nicer white color to look at instead of that halogen glow)

LED clear reverse lights (from AAC and damn are they bright. makes a ton of difference backing up at night. install was very easy and straightforward. able to take the bumper off by myself. if i can do it, anyone can do it)

Chrome turn signal bulbs (to get rid of that ugly yellow color)

LED Fog lights (I have the plasma lights and they are a little more blue than the stock hids and halos. The led versions match a little better but I read a lot about the individual leds slowly failing and falling off... so i think i will just deal with the extra blue tint... Install wasn't too bad. The bulbs fit into the housing quite well but the connector didn't snap on like it did on the OEM bulb. it doesnt seem like it will fall off though so its all good)

DRL harness (this was sort of a pain in the ass to do with the wheel still on the car. i dont have a jack so i had no choice. if you do this install, remove the front wheels. it will be much easier and give you a lot more room to pull back the wheel well liner and get both arms in there to snap those t connectors on with pliers.)

If y'all have any questions about details on install or any certain pic requests, let me know. I'll be glad to help.

Thanks!

3... Old 5.0, 2005-2009 gt, and a new 5.0. The latter was very close, but I pulled him very slightly. The other two couldn't keep up. On top of those, a civic si tried and failed miserably lol, and a murcielago completely left me in the dust, but that was expected...

Wow, you aren't kidding. I saw some pics of yours and damn they are close. Did you get the unpainted heritage grill or satin black? And did u paint the tail light bezels or buy preprinted? Better yet, what cosmetic mods do you have done on your car?

Decided to try out my new camera and take a couple pics of my car and my stepdad's Procharged 2011 Corvette ZO6 Carbon. All of the images are way too big to upload here so I have uploaded them to a DropBox folder. Forgive my photography skills... I'm still learning! Link to the pics below:

Hood wrap is now gone... Long story short, someone threw Raisin Canes sauce all over the front of my car while I was in the grocery store and the grease from the sauce just wouldn't come out. I tried everything possible. But on the positive side, I don't have to see those dredded water spots anymore!

Removal tip: Heat helps tremendously! It cracks and peels when it's too cold. No need for a heat gun... A blow dryer will do just fine. Whole wrap came off in one piece!

Even though my car may not look as badass without the black hood, it still looks really good. It's like a cleaner, more refined look. Pics will be up tomorrow after I give her a good washing.

Still looks good. I plan on keeping my hood wrap as long as I can once I get mine but it looks good without one too. You can still tell it's a 1LE.

damn man...sorry to hear about the cane's sauce! I'd be in jail for murder if someone tried that with me. Have you noticed any glare off the paint w/o the wrap on as compared to the wrap??

Not that I have noticed. Everything is obviously reflected in the paint but no glare or anything like that. I actually rather it this way. The car looks cleaner.

Nice care, You can have the most powerful, supercharged engine in the world, but if you donít have the technology to support it, what do you get? A whole lot of power you canít use.

.....a 2013 FORD GT500!

First white 1LE I've seen without the wrap.....I actually don't like it removed. I'd have to see it in person but I love my wrapped hood. Car looks good though man!
