Advice on a 2010 RJT 2SS versus a 2011 Black 2SS

Looking at both of these cars, I will list the options and the price. Let me know what you think is a better deal.

1) 2010 RJT 2SS with 10,060 miles, 6 speed, RS package, polished aluminum wheels, ground effects kit (painted body color), black stripes, sunroof, larger rear spoiler. This is going for 28,800 USD.

2) 2011 Black 2SS (HUD) with 8,000 miles, 6 speed, RS package, white stripes, SS grille and rear insert, Midnight wheels, no sunroof, lip spoiler. This one is going for 29,800.

I would like HUD, and I'm aware of the expense of installing it. I also think I would like the sunroof option, thus I'm leaning towards the RJT 2010.

Give me some input on this matter... Is there another reason I should go for the 2011?

I have a RJT, but I have a real weakness for Black with white stripes. If they had that on the lot when I was looking, I would have gotten it without thinking about it. My vote is the black one. Less miles, painted wheels, no sunroof. I love sunroofs, but not on the Camaro. Plus from the body kits Ive seen in person, they look like an afterthought, stuck on with tape. Fitment sucked.

my money is on RJT

Discontunied color, wheels, sunroof, ground fx, large spoolier

but on the flip side the HUD is Cool, plus a backup cam.

I would not by the RJT and try to put a HUD in, I would keep looking

Dont settle, take your time, Good luck

Lots of people are trading nice SS camaros to move up to ZL1s

Model year wise 2011 had fixes for 2010 issues plus HUD. Check how early the vin is on the 2010. Early 2010 transmission on the 6 speed had output shaft issues breaking.

Might want to get a Car Fax on it and see if it that was looked at. Also 2010 had some A/C drain issues with the drain line being collapsed when transmission was put in. The cars ended up filling up inside with water. Make sure it will drain when running the A/C. 2010's with sunroofs also had possible sunroof draining issues with hose getting pinched and filling up back seat foot wheels with water.

This are all things to look for on a 2010 that I know of to keep an eye out for.

That should be fine on the transmission, they got those fixed under the first 30K cars. A/C should be ok also but would check it out if you can. Just have the car pulled in the shop, turn on A/C with no recycle air on and see if it drips.

Just smell the carpet in the back foot wells and the front passenger side to see if they smell musty. If real musty smelling then it has or has had water issues.

Thanks a lot Scott, I do like the red better. I don't like the white stripes on black, white I would have to remove them. I also talked to a guy on the forums here, jeepguy_1980 to be exact, who would help with a HUD install. I would also just install my own backup camera too.
