yeah, we have a buddy flying in to help us. lol great guy! so it will be the 3 of us trying to tackle this thing.

I've already installed BBK's on my last v6, so i have a good idea of how it goes. couple things i need to get/worry about though.

1) BBK came with o2 extensions. I will need to buy these. anyone know where?

2) the "nub" on the driver side, under the car, where the stock cat converter is. How to grind this off, or will i need to grind it off, if i'm not putting on any catalytic converters. basically, will it be in the way of the stock clamp, to connect the header to the stock exhaust pipe?

Do you have a direct link to the right extensions?

1) Apex-speed.com sells the O2 extensions.
http://www.apex-speed.com/08-13-gm-1...pair-1115.html

2) You will need to grind it off to be able to slide the stock downpipe out. I used a small grinder. I'm sure you could use a dremel if you have access to one.

thanks for the link!

I didn't have to grind anything, when I took the stock downpipe off my other Camaro.

In my personal experience, after installing my BBK's and starting the car up with basically straight pipes after the cats (except for the stock resonators):

Cold Start idle: AWFUL
Warm idle: AMAZING.
Acceleration: ears bleed

Lol. But I doubt i have them for too long. Kinda trying to make a flash sale today

Yeah, I moved to SC and I didn't have room in the moving truck. Told her I would sell it or come back for it.

Anybody have any experience with plastidip? I have a can I've been meaning to use and I want to black out the whole area around the taillights and chevy emblem. Which brings up: How to remove the bowties?

just tape off the rear and you are good to go. get some floss or fishing line to remove the bowtie. never used a hair dryer, but yes, goo gone is a must.
