I would really prefer that only 3-5 spots be saved at a time. It wouldn't be fair for one person to get there and block off 50 spots since that's a large majority of the parking lot. I appreciate that you guys support the show in such a strong attendance, but we have to be fair to everyone who takes the time to get there early in hopes of parking on the concrete.

As it is, I have to block off 20 spots for a bridal shower which is taking place inside the banquet hall, so to have 60 spots all blocked off first thing in the morning really wouldn't be fair to the rest of the people coming to the show.

Perhaps as Mike mentioned over on our web site, if it's ok, may Mike and I could get to Bakers early, maybe scout out an area out in the grass where we might fit away from the main parking lot so as to keep that wide open for people coming in. We wouldn't block off anything, but if we have our group gather in a parking lot down the road then just have maybe 10 come in at a time we could get them parked, then call and have the next 10 come-on-down, park them best we can, and repeat the process?

I know how busy the check-in lane gets. If we all rolled in as one group with 30-50 cars that would create a serious traffic jam, but we we come in in stages perhaps that would help.

I know there'll be members of our group that would preferr if we were able to all come in as 50 cars and have all of us up front in a prime spot, but we realize that's not possible.

We will respect and obey your rules no matter what they are. You are the host, we are guests.

And THANK YOU and your group for hosting one of the premier local shows of the year.

I'd be OK with that -- I know some people don't like parking on the hill in the grass, but the main plus of it is that you can spread out a little more than if you park on the concrete and stick to parking 1 car per space.

Al Oppenheiser and John Fitzpatrick have both confirmed they'll be at the show this Saturday. They also confirmed that they'll need some spots reserved for them... If you're in the Great Lakes region, this is a definite show to attend!

I can't wait to see what goodies they bring this year. I'll have to bring the camera and perhaps see if maybe I can get some images of the color HUD if they bring the 2014 car.

I don't want to make any promises, and I truly have no idea what they plan to bring, but I think it's a safe assumption based off of what they brought to the FBody Gathering in Atlanta that there will be at least one 2014 at the show.

A COPO and a Z/28 would be nice to see as well as a 2014 ZL1 along side of a 2014 SS or 1LE and a 2014 LT.

Keep in mind this meet it very close to GM's Milford Proving grounds, and two years ago they brought one of their ZL1 test mules still in camo.

I just don't want to make any promises, nor make any requests to Scott and team. They know we love to see whatever they can bring - Scott, John, and Al have been generous enough to bring goodies to our Meet & Greet since 2007. Camaro coupe concept and Camaro convertible concept in 2007, in 2008 a preproduction vehicle, 2009 a production-ready version, 2011 a ZL1 mule, 2012 a handful of Camaro ZL1 convertibles, etc

Watching our registrations -- we're just shy of 300 registrations for the show!

We also have a 2014 Camaro ZL1 Convertible registered for the Meet & Greet as well as a 1969 Camaro COPO!

Do visitors, who don't own a Camaro yet but want to be there have to register as well?

Not at all.
If you want to register an show your car, turn left when you enter.
If just want to be a spectator, turn right.

Correct - as said above, spectators are welcome to the show just the same as participants are. We're not going to turn anyone away, you only have to register if you plan to bring your car into the show

S'all good -- we have plenty of people who show up to the show without their FBodies.

We now have two 2014 Camaro ZL1s confirmed to be coming to the show -- and possibly more! Come to the Meet & Greet and see the refreshed 2014 Camaros up close and personal!

It's just water - we'll all be OK. Not to mention we're at Bakers of Milford - we can seek refuge inside the restaurant and bar. Will our cars get dirty? Sure - but it's worth it. I know we all invest a lot of time making our cars shine, but the event staff and I have a lot of time (and a lot of money!) invested in the show -- we're going rain or shine.

Rain, what rain. It was suppose to thunderstorm all day today too. I think it rained at my house for a total of 20 minutes back at 1 pm. I and many of the Detroit 5th gen club will be there for sure.
