Opinion on the GT 500 vs camaro - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So im just wondering if anyone here has considered waiting a little longer and buying the gt 500 instead of hte camaro... i know i have not cuz i want my 2SS already, just a few more weeks...

if you choose a gt 500, why.. and if you choose a camaro, why? and what are your opinions that teh gt500 will be faster and more powerful, also with a very sexy appearence to it?

GT500 costs a lot more.. Two different leagues of cars in my opinion.. I would get a Camaro and save yourself some money..

Im sure if you used the search you could find about 100,000 threads and opinions...

IMO get the camaro and make it faster and more powerful with less $$$.

If u got the money and like the the GT500 looks better then u know what to do.

mustangs just arent my cup of tea. and those new rear ends are garbage.

If you can aford the new GT500 it is a no brainer to go with that car. It is built from the factory and ready for high boost. 600rwhp is no problem .. slap on a KB or Whipple and do a few things and your knocking 700rwhp ...

It is out of my price range so the Camaro it is, which isn't a bad thing. I think the camaro looks a little better and I like the platform.

To each his own, I guess. I think the 2010 rear end looks better than the 2009, and I do like the look of the Mustang, but the Camaro still bests it, and you Maros don't have a weak a$$ V6 model puttering around...

Still, the Shelby is a whole other Mustang altogether and looks significantly different. But yeah, for my money it'd be a Camaro.
