Torque Converter Question

I have a Yank converter rated at 3200rpm. When the car is at WOT, the 2-3 shift feels like it has a hesitation in fully engaging. Its like it engages and then slacks off ever so slightly then fully engages.

Is this normal? It may be doing it in other gears but I dont feel it as much as I do in the 2-3

Could be tuning, could be low fluid.

Could be as simple as the shift point is set to high and its dragging while holding onto the power, or could be in the tune.

If your using HP Tuners,
Make sure your TCC desired tables are Zero'd out and you added TCC pressure............and bring down the shift point 200 RPMs just in case.

I'd huddle up with your tuner and then make a few hits on the street. It's okay to have to change or adjust a parameter once in a while if you've made more changes.
