Vroooooom tune installed

I installed the Diablo performance tune this afternoon.. I have the following comment to make.. the inTune was super easy to use and configure.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

No AFM, more go power, better shifting... Why didnt Chevy give me these options when I bought the car?

I will report back on gas mileage, not that I give a sh*t, the foot factor will probably weigh heavily on the results...

Thank you Brandon (Maryland Speed)

Once you tune your car your warranty is over with. Even if you take out your performance tune and reload you stock tune the computer will show that there was a flash done. No way getting out of it. Don't tune if you are not ready to lose your warranty.

I will not have any issues with the warranty, and frankly, I don't care. I dont race around, the car will never see the track, my SS is a daily driver, and I drive a lot. The overall improvement in performance and drivability are a wonderful thing.

I agree with you there. I got dyno tuned last week, totally different (BETTER) feel to the car. I don't miss the powertrain warranty one bit. The powertrain warranty just ended on my Trailblazer SS, ask me how many times it came in handy in 90K miles - not once, zero. The tune definitely improves the car, especially us auto guys. I did wait (over) a year and a half on the Camaro to make sure no 'new quirk failures' showed up. Don't fear the warranty, definitely a believer in tunes now.

What is the fuel mileage like after your tune?

Proud 2SS/RS Owner.
