There is no gap. If you mean the gap between the car and the ground, it is the same as stock, reference point is the lowest point of the bumper.

Will it be necessary to drill into the car to attach the fasteners?

Or better, rockers that match the T4 and T5. Zl1 would sit too high....

What's difference between t5 and t2 splitter? Are rockers available and what do you mean by sit too high?

We recommend drilling a series of holes from the underside of the bumper. A splitter needs to be rigidly installed to your vehicle...2 way tape just wont cut it.

We supply 3 M8 fasteners and 11 Heavy Duty Scrivets.

Common points T5 and T2 Splitters :
- T5 and T2 Splitters will both fit a LS LT Bumper.
- Both will not lower the ride height of your Camaro
- Both made in composite, and already prepped and primed.
- Both Mount using mechanical supplied fasteners

Differences :
- T5 mounts from the underside in under 15 minutes
- T2 can offer a cool-rad feature
- Cosmetically comepltely different
- T2 is much more complex to manufacture, hence price is higher than the T5
- T2 requires the fascia to be removed for install, not a biggie, but still needs to be pointed out.

The transition of the Zl1 rocker, where the black feature starts, is higher relative to the ground.

Looks awesome with a Zl1 front end, with a matching Zl1 Splitter, but with the T5 or any other aftermarket splitter, they look a little off to me. You may like the look, to each our own.

We just designed a set to match the SS and LT cars, using the lines already found on the OEM rocker and complementing our splitters.

This is just a matter of taste but something that bothers me when looking at the profile of the Camaro.

One thing people need to be aware of is that even though the ground clearance is the same your angle of approach will be less so entering or leaving sloped driveways/ parking lots may scrape the front edge where it wouldn't before.
