Advance Auto has a special with Mobil 1 until the 24th. Get 5qts and a Mobil 1 oil filter for $29.99. You just need to double down and get 10qts and two filters and keep the second filter for the next time. Normal costs would be $96 for everything.

Oil Filter is the Mobil 1 M1-113. Normally $13 each. Doesn't hurt to stock up before you actually need it.

went in today after work and got 3 sets. 3 filters (M1-113), and 15 qrts of 5W30 Full Synthetic oil.

Was no limit per customer.... could of gotten as much as I wanted.

Anything but Fram. The end cap on Fram's internal filter element is made of cardboard and is known to occasionally come loose--sending pieces of cardboard through your engine. ACDelco, Purolator, Bosch, etc all use metal or plastic--which does not disintegrate.

True, the odds that the end cap may come loose are slim, especially with regular oil changes, but why risk your entire powerplant on a stupid $4 filter? ACDelcos are four bucks at Walmart (at least for my LS1)...good enough for me!
