So basically we have no idea what this car is? I hope we confirmation about an LS7 Camaro soon. I put off ordering a 1le waiting on this. I hope alk they do is just drop the ls7 into a 1le and call it a day. No fancy brakes or shocks so the price stays down.

No pix of the engine bay? How can you be sure there is a LS7 in there?

"Sounded like a V8" Who could possibly confuse an LS7 with NPP quad exaust with the V6?

Who cares about the grill, those wheels are from a 2010-2012. It looks like it's a slapped together "Heinz 57". Maybe an LS7 is under the hood, but the exterior is made up of 16 different cars. Speculation, all specualtion.

Anyone else think that in the last picture the rear diffuser looks pretty crudely cut out for the quad exhaust?

Exactly, that's why I said it looks like a car that was pieced together for God knows what. This is all speculation. Who knows, maybe they use that car to get lunch. None of us know what the Hell it is supposed to be. The title could read: "LS9 Powered Camaro" for all it's worth. Nobody would still know anything.

Just the vin card that someone posted a while back? I believe they finally came out and said that that vin chart was not complete nor neccessarily accurate and should not have been leaked.

For all we know there could be most anything under that hood from a LS7, a new LT Vett DI engine, a TT V6, or just a bunch of hampsters.

Weird because it has the older style rims and fin.

Anyway here's to hoping but I am far from convinced.

The "rings" are not rings they are emmissions test ports.

In case you're wondering how I know I worked at the Milford proving grounds for a couple of years with the truck group on the gen IV powertrain in my youth.

Approximately when does GM put out new model year information for Camaro? Trying to decide on ordering a 2013 or just wait for a 2014.

Meh - I'm not biting. I'm hopeful though. There are no other apparent chassis changes that stand out. Standard SS brakes, funky facia, funky exhaust. I see the test probes and maybe pitot tubes, but show me a 7000-redline tach and intake manifold, and I'll bite. I recall those intakes to be a little distinctive.

I could see a LT1 going in there though. When we look back, C4 got LT1 in '92 and Z28 got it in '93; C5 got LS1 in '97 and Z28 got it in '98. We know C7 gets LT1 in '14, so I could imagine a '15 LT1 in SS.

Or an LT1 in a 2015 Z28.

You know - I don't think it'd make enough power to justify, but we don't know official numbers yet.
