We use existing screws that are already on your car along with the addition of a couple fasteners that we supply.

All that money you saved on the purchase of your car will come in handy for touch up work around the gills.

Can't believe people that spend big money on engine cosmetic mods, like your vett for example, with go on and on about a forum supporter and vender who brings us something useful to protect our exterior and you want to whine about the price.

Come on NORTH SHORE nem the gelt or keep the whining off this guys thread.

Just to confirm, there is no adhesive, just to direct bolt points and two tabs? Do you guys paint the tabs black to hide. In the pics I couldn't tell?

No adhesive. They can easily be installed and uninstalled. The two clips supplied are already black. They blend in very nicely.

Just stopped at the dealer and asked about the OEM GM 'quater flares' for a ZL1.
I had them on my 2011SS and the were great.
I didn't think they would fit on a ZL1 due to the additional rocker panel GFX, but they looked up my VIN and the system said they were indeed available for a ZL1.

They're not cheap at $270 a set, but I had them order a set, and when they come in, we'll find out for sure if they fit a ZL1 or not.

I'm not sure if they are the same part number as the ones for an SS or if they are indeed a different set designed for a ZL1.

I didn't ask when I placed the order.
If you're really interested, I can stop by the dealer tomorrow and ask.

I suspect it'll take a few days for them to come in, so I won't know for positive they they will fit untill we actually have them and try to install them.

I did ask if they come painted or just the usual flat black, but they tell me they should come in a gloss black. Again, they may have ordered gloss black on purpose to match my black car.

Here's a DIY if you want to save a few bucks for other mods:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...+Splash+guards

And it will work on all camaros.

That will be interesting to find out. The dealer I go to said they don't make any for the ZL1. Can't wait for the verdict.

OK Here we go, these are the part numbers thay came up when the dealer used my ZL1 VIN for the GM OEM 'quarter flares'.

Now remember, these are part numbers that popped up when they used my ZL1 VIN. We will NOT know if they truely fit until they come in and we try to install them.

Victory Red - 92214927
Black - 92214931
Crystal Red - 22794781
Orange - 92214928
Yellow - 92214929
Silver - 92229704
White - 22809726

The set I ordered yesterday should arrive in a few days or so I expect. When they get here, we'll attempt to install them and see once and for all, if they truly fit a ZL1 or not. I still have my doubts, but we'll see.

That would be great if they did work. I just don't know how that would work for the rears. They would have to slide over the existing guard that is there. I just don't see that being aesthetically pleasing.

Those are the original ones gm has sold for a while. Notice if you search on the net, they come back for ls/lt/ss without GFX.

Rears will not work without mods, fronts might fit with persuasion.

I love the showstopper flap, installed mine last weekend. Only thing i did was use 3m clear guard on the edge front and rear of the fender so the gaurd will not rub paint off over time, and the clips wont scratch paint off the backside.

Great product!

I installed mine a few days ago and they are great! They look like they came from the factory. I realize I could have made them myself, but to me these are worth the price for the quality from Showstoppers!
