From the picture, it looks like you have a bright flashlight in your face.

What exactly is the purpose of the Raptor shift light w/accessories?

The HUD one does not allow for any other sighting position than straight forward, with the light I can see it in my peripheral sight no problem. This aids in shifting while looking to the sides for on coming traffic and other Apps.

Thought I had this done, but my light would go out then come back on. Contacted Raptor and they updated the connections.

So do I try and re-install this or install the NEW one I just bought? MSD Shift light????

The MSD seems easy to install, the Raptor has the blue LEDs which I like so much better??

Now for some prep work,

Locate you #1 Coil (drivers side one all they to front of engine) remove plug from coil, carefully peel back tape.

The MSD pick up goes on the large outer pink wire (test by using a test light, key off light off, key on, light on) DO NOT TURN KEY ALL THE WAY ON, JUST TO WHERE GAUGES LIGHT UP ON DASH, DO NOT START CAR.

Place mount where you want it. I chose here.

Remove fuse panel, center door strip cover, and lower kick panel

Remove plastic nut and fold back carpet towards the center console.

This is where I drill a hole to run wiring for an earlier project/under hood where it comes out.

Run your wire (PICK UP end) into the car.

Loosely run the pick up wire and the inserted this into a wire loom.

Connected the pick up per the install instructions.

Plugged back in the coil wire.
