Nice write up. I have been using zaino for years and love. But I am in the market to try something new. I have read alot of good reviews on the Blackfire wet diamond all finish paint protection since it is a sealant like zaino I think I'm gonna try it. Is there a cure time? Can I apply more than 1 coat?

On the BFWD, you want to apply, let it haze for about 30 minutes, then buff off.

Then you want to let it cure at least 12 hours between coats. You can layer it, but anything more than 2 layers is a waste IMO.

Thanks. Looks good to me, and cheaper than the one I was looking at, so that's a huge plus.

Use the PC yes. That helps you spread it as thin as possible. I use a lake country red pad, but any soft pad with no cut is fine.

Oh and get a pad that's just for BFWD. it never really comes out of the pad entirely so you'll want to relegate a specific pad.

Updated links to include my preferred, more reputable, and less shady, vendors in every case that was possible. Some were unable to be changed as they are exclusively sold under a particular umbrella.

Please let me know if any links are broken and I'll fix them ASAP.

I think it's fixed now. Idk why it was being such a bastard. I spent twenty minutes on that one before you even mentioned it.

looks like PBMG just lost all their business from you

I will continue buying from them as long as they treat me well though (which they do, never had an issue not resolved), sorry to hear about your bad experiences :(

Tends to happen when they won't credit a $15 return from a customer who has spent thousands there.

Chemical Guys blacklight, with a layer of Blackfire BlackIce... just sick, deep, gloss black! I'll post pics when I get a chance to wash it again. Thanks again for posting this page.
