CAI - Air Scoop : INSTALL help please ...

Here's the message I sent to Chase at Apex Speed.
Is anyone here have a idea based on their experience of fitting an Air Scoop?
Thanks :-)
I fitted my Air Scoop and Washer Bottle ! :-)

But, here's some of the challenges I faced, and maybe it can feed into improvements in the product or fitting instructions, or maybe I just got something wrong ...

1/ I could not get the Air Scoop bolt hole to line up with the previous Washer Bottle bolt hole location.
It felt like I could not push the Air Scoop far enough forward into the grill area to get the hole to line up.
It was about 15mm+- short of lining up.
I firstly cut a wee bit out of the AirScoop, but it was not that :-(
I checked the front, underneath, sides ... no it was all fitting OK, nothing was catching or blocking it.
In the end I had to re-drill a new hole, further forward towards the fron end of the car, and make a slot from that to your bolt hole to make it work with some allowance.
Maybe this bolt hole should be slot; from it's current position to 40mmm forward of it?

2/ I fitted my new Washer Bottle to the side of the Air Scoop.
On hindsight, this should be done before finally fitting the Air Scoop, as accessing the front bolts is a bit impossible to tighten them ip, especially the front lower bolt heat as the fog lights get in the way there.
Maybe I missed that part in the instructions ?
When I came to fit the Wheel Well lining there is a slight bulge where the Washer Bootle is.
Though my wheel clears it with about 6mm spare, I'm not sure it's ideal for speed or turing at speed?
HAVE I DONE Something wrong do you think from your experience ?

#2 is a know issue and should be fixed by the comnpany. This buldge has stopped me from installing the Apex washer kit. Really disappointed with this and feel it should not be sold this way and needs to be redesigned somehow.

So I am stuck with a washer kit I will not use but I never use my washer anyway. If Apex would take it back, I would gladly sent it back.
