70 Camaros reported at Wentzville, MO Rail Yard - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Okay guys, I went by after work(around 3:30) to the Wentzville, MO rail yard and after driving around in circles for about 30 minutes, finally discovered the Camaros that have been sitting at the Wentzville rail yard in the Norfolk & Southern distribution center. Spoke with an employee there who stated that there are over 70 Camaros sitting waiting to get delivered. Now, they wouldn't let me in as apparently word has spread of the Camaros being there, so I had to take a picture from a distance; and they have parked most of the Camaros far away to keep people from trying to a close look... Anyway, here are my pictures I took in original quality so you can zoom in on the one's that are far away...

Just a note: depending on how long some of those Camaros have been there, around the St. Louis area there have been some severe thunderstorms that have passed thru as well as some that are predicted tonight and Friday.... don't mean to scare anyone, but if you know your car came from Wentzville, check closely for any hail damage.

hope all the camaros are ok, cant say the same for those mustangs, they must be pissing their pants seeing all those predator camaros around them

Great pics. I can't tell wich one would be mine because of the angle of the pics. Can't see stripes on them. COuld you see stripes on any of the IOM ones? These must have come in during the weekend.

EDIT: Just got off the phone with my dealer. My car IS at the yard. Hopefully they have enough to ship out now and I'll see it with 2-3 days

My car has been at the yard since Wednesday morning!!

Any predictions on when it will be shipped to WEber Chevrolet in Creve Couer? It's only 10ish minutes away.

My guess would be very soon since they have enough to fill a truck (or two) now. Mines going to Elco on manchester, so it's not too far from your dealer.

Is there anyone here that can stake out the place all day and see if they leave with truck fulls of these things?

I got mine last week from Trenary in Ofallon. They have some sitting on there lot still. One or two of them are not sold.

Its hard to find a dealer that is not selling over MSRP. Atleast they are only 2500 over for the SS and not 5000 like some of the other dealers.

Doesn't seem like anything moved at all today....comparing the pictures in the first post to what I saw last night and again tonight.....

Dang nabit....this is pissing me off!!!! My freakin ground effects better damn well be delivered with my car.......I'm sick and tired of all this QC BS and waiting around....

Hell my dealer still hasn't even gotten their V6 that they were supposed to have for 6 May!

Tell me about it. This guy just got his today, and he's in Missouri. Not too mention it's aVIN 1,000s above mine. Must be nice to get a normal delivery. I swear I check my phone every 20 minutes during the day just to make sure I didn't miss the call. I'd really like to get past this part of the order process.

And on top of everything else, I have to look at one every morning when I get to work. Someone else at work got one and parks it near where I park so I have to walk past it everyday. Go figure!
