I'm leaving mine as is. I love the look of the carbon fiber.

What some have done with paint is still pretty cool though.
I just think on my plain black car the carbon will make it a lot less boring.

We'll see.

Hell Yeah!!!!

I got my hood today. It came in perfect condition and it was packed extremely well. I wouldnt hesitate to get one of these if that was your concern.

All that and it's gorgeous top notch quality.
Soon as my kid gets home from school he's helping me swap hoods!

Once I do that and give this thing a bath I'll post up.

Thanks UltimatemotorX. For a part this nice, the price was a bargain in my opinion.

I'd suggest anyone who is standing on the fence take the leap.

Nope. In low light it appears black. In better light you get more like this...

Who knows though, I may paint it, or part of it. I'm having a hard time with the idea. Either way though, I love it. It definitely doesn't suck.

I really want this hood but my car stays outside and even with the rain guards I feel like my engine compartment would get wet.

Anyone have any experience?

Mine stays in the garage but I can tell you the only way you'll get water on your engine if your have the rain guards in is if you pour a five gallon bucket of water in one vent.... then it may be too much for the rain guard to handle.
