What TOP TIER Gasoline do you use (and brands you avoid)?

I purchased my 2013 V8 automatic (2SS) in December, 2012. I have used Shell V-Power (91 Octane) exclusively. But, recently a friend told me that he had trouble with Shell in the past and he prefers Chevron, with Techron.

Which brand do you all prefer?

Marcus

Shell 93 and in a pinch Chevron 93. I avoid anything else.

It's all good until you have a problem with it. Just like every other product out there. Use what works for you. Not trying to be a smarta$$ just saying, if YOU aren't having trouble with the gas you're using, why switch?!?!

I have noticed that Shell 93 oct. makes my rear tires wear down faster.

I can't even get 93 octane up here!!! I just use whatever 91 octane that I can find...that doesn't have ANY Ethanol in it. That's a challenge in itself!!!

I used to run Shell religiously back in the 90s and early 2000s but noticed that it started sucking in MPG so I switched to Chevron and picked back up overall with as good power. Ive tried Shell here and there and just dont get the mileage as other brands. I run BP 95% of the time right now but it is inconsistent sometimes with same driving pattern. Conoco does great in my car the few times Ive ran it but theres not a station close by like BP and Shell. Texaco and Exxon does fine for me too.
BP and Amoco are basicly the same.
Chevron and Texaco are basicly the same.
Conoco and Phillips 66 are basicly the same.

Wife works with some Chem Engineers that work with many of the companies listed. Shell and Chevron are the best and my car is a Shell 93 only car.
