Cold air intake?

I'm looking for a loud sounding CAI for my 2012 Camaro 2SS. Any suggestions?

Yes, look here. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=11 There is all kinds of info for you to look at. Chances are your question will get placed here when a moderator finds it anyway. No big deal, just keeping things organized.

Good luck and welcome to Camaro5.

About 80% of members this forum will be in here shortly ranting and raving over the Cold Air Inductions systems. Roto-Fab is probably 2nd in line for most popular. Both are excellent choices. We have other budget friendly options that may suit your needs as well. Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions!

Best regards,

Tyler

Thanks, Tyler, I just called you making sure the CAI I ordered had the notch cut to clear the ground cable on the '13 model SS.

OP, in the dyno tests done independently by members of this site, the CAI showed the greatest hp gains at the rear wheel for drop in kits (those that require no modification)

If you're looking simply for the loud loudest, so far the loudest cold air intake that I have tried out of 6 or 7 different intakes is the Airaid.

A CAI Inc intake system with a scoop will make plenty of noise and a nice performance improvement.
