Cool Dealer Question

I am looking into purchasing a 2012 Camaro. It has low miles on it and it's beautiful! The dealer is calling every day, wanting to know "What can I do to get you into this car?" What is he thinking? Options? What kinds of stuff might a dealer toss in to sweeten the deal besides lowering the price?

After I was done with the price, I asked for the paint protection for free, and performance pipes at their cost and free install but it was new and a left over 2011 and the first 2012 was on the floor. I got a great deal on the price too but you can always try and tell them you will shop around if you don't get what you want and see how that works out !

After exhausting the cash discount angle, have them throw in some free oil changes , car washes, or some other simple service that a non GM dealer could do.

I'd go full-tilt for the cash off the price though, cause you never know who's going to be in business six months down the road these days.

On a side note, I called two other dealers sitting long term on cars identicle to yours. Both dealers were willing to do "whatever it took" to move them out. I'll probably be buying shortly, so please let us know how your little adventure turns out.

Good Luck !

Thanks! I will get free oil changes for however long I own the car through them. Still waiting to see if they will take more off the price!
