Question Will dealer install aftermarket stripes?

I think I want to put some stripes on my Camaro when I finally get it, but want something different then what the dealer is offering. If I found something I like do you think the dealer would install them for me?

Look for a local bodyshop -- I'm sure they'd be able to help and would probably charge less. Unless your dealer has in-house body services that's what they'd end up more than likely.

I would, but she's over-rated.

I wouldn't have a dealer do something like stripes. You'd pay too much, and I doubt they'd do a very good job since it's not something they do every day.

I just put stripes on my Challenger from Ridergraphix. They're a vendor here as well. I had a local customizing shop do it who specialize in this type of thing along with custom leather interiors etc. They did a perfect job on all but one of the spoiler pieces which I re-did myself with some extra material from the kit.

After doing that piece, I wish I'd done the whole car myself. It's a piece of cake.

I've got some info out on my site if you wanna see what's involved, but again, do it yourself. They'll really change the attitude of the car.

My dealer doesn't put on stripes often, so they had the Ford dealer put on my stripes sinse they do so many Mustangs, they messed them up. They are going to have a place that makes custom stripes put on the factory ones, unless I go with custom ones, then I'll keep the factory ones in the box.

We have had many customers use either a local auto body shop or a window tint shop to install the stripes they purchased from us. Many have done their own installs as well.
