New mods

I have a L99 ss with k and n intake, and borla atak exhaust, and was wondering what you guys would do bolt on wise, I have around 2 or 3 thousand to spend. I know I need a tune, but what else, also is headers going to be too much with the atak exhast

If you aren't worried about your warranty, then LT's and tune would be a great investment

I had the ATAK before I put my ARH LT's on. It was loud with just exhaust, then it got really loud after the headers were added. Over the top means something different for everyone, but for me it was awesome.

I would say the same as the others and go with LT headers and a tune. You will love it.

three thousand? i would do a better intake headers and some bushings, still would have some left over to put in a budget for cam and head work.

KOOKS or TDP headers. 1 7/8 or 2" primaries.

Tune

Vararam intake (sell your K&N )

Suspension parts and bushings!

You'll have a nice setup! Guaranteed.

I agree. K&N is a cheap intake system. You might want to look into something different such as Vararam, Rotofab, or Cold Air Inductions intake. After that, get yourself a nice set of headers and a tune.

ok so I will look for long tube headers and a tune, but how do you guys feel about gears, and a throttle body. My car could use gears I think because it doesnt get that great of launches, and I was reading about the throttle bodies and I hear they gain a lot of horsepower.

Gear will be good, TB's will give you better throttle response. Go with a vmax

Longtubes, cats, tune, cai, you won't need gears with stock tires, it will be a lot harder to hook than stock.
