cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....

Got bored over the weekend so I decided to add some LED's in the trunk to give me some more light back there. Super easy mod to do and it came out awesome! Will post pics when I get off of work...

I love the vreds...night and day difference vs the pzeros. They ride very well and for a street tire they surprisingly hold the power well.

Alright guys heres a few quick pics on the trunk LED's...

I started by mounting the lights to the bottom of the rear deck just in front of the factory trunk light and ran the wires above the little plate the factory light is mounted in..

Once I got the lights mounted where I wanted and wires routed I cut the excess wire and soldered the two lights together (pos/pos, neg/neg) together.

Then I spliced into the factory trunk light harness with a few t-taps. I connected the positive wires from the LED's to the red/black wire on the harness and the negative wires from the LED's to the black wire on the harness. Cleaned up and made everything nice and neat and VOILA...let there be light.

I went ahead and bought 2 packs of LED strips....going to tackle the footwells next when I have time

Im glad he asked about the Vreds. I too am having tire issues with Pirrelli Rossos holding stock power, my supercharger goes on next month and need new ones. Ill be at roughly 520RWHP so i should have no slipping issues? since you are pushing 750RWHP

Oh and the LEDs look SICK

Don't get me wrong I can still blow the tires off but at this power level and to say that the vred is a street tire and not a drag radial..I was surprised and very satisfied with them. Even Nick at Lethal Racing said he was surprised how well the tires performed TRYING to reign in 750hp

Thanks...right now with just exhaust work i mash the pedal under 40mph and i slide sideways, fun... but frustrating. Im adding 120HP to it so its going to be worst. I just want a tire that i can mash and it goes, alittle slippage is fine, but mashing it in second at 40mph and back end kicking out is scary
