Ground Effects Backordered - Camaro Forum - 2011 Camaro 2010 Camaro / Camaro Z28 SS Forums

So I order my car in October. Wait forever, the car is being delivered tomorrow. The ground effects are backordered. Now GM new of the order many months ago. So how do you screw this up. Just another example of GM's inability to launch this vehicle properly.
Going to be 2 weeks before they come in.
I love my Camaro but dislike the company.

My front lip fell off, I'm probably ahead of you in line for getting them because of this, so are the other people that had the same thing happen. I still have not heard when I'm getting it. All i know is that it is on back order. I hope you really do get it in two weeks, but don't hold your breath.

I am sorry to hear of the problem. Just seems like p*ss poor planning by a company.

well hind sight is 20/20

it was a bad design, but it wasn't found until people started having problems.

they are working to fix the problem and i know cars have had the gfx installed with the new system (uses clips along the front). it's just a matter of time. i too had my battles with GM and the dealer over this car, but it was worth the wait. My only critique would be they need to improve their customer service on ALL levels.
