Grind 3063 is a factory 2001 ls6 cam (yours is serial # 069152). Looks like you got ripped or the seller just had the wrong cam in the wrong box.

that pattern on the bottom looks like a QR code. Download a reader with your smart phone and scan it?

hit him up and ask him to explain himself. This is why you buy parts like cams from vendors.

Yep!! Thank heavens you checked, OP. You should ALWAYS verify the grind # on the cam with that on the cam card. Whew, you dodged a bullet there. Even if you can't get your money back you just saved yourself a lot of heartache and labor.

It could be an honest mistake. Wait for him to tell his story before giving negative feedback. I know it sucks when things dont go right, but in a world of online buying, feedback is important. If he gives you a hard time, then go with the negative. If hes willing to do what it takes to make it right, let him.

That does suck and may have been an honest mistake. However, 6 to 7 months to verify the part you got wasn't correct is a pretty ridiculous amount of time to wait to do so. Either way just be happy you didn't start the install with that.
