1969 COPO

Heard about an unknown Copo Camaro that just showed up in Ontario,Canada. Has anyone else heard about this Camaro. Rumor has it that the car was sold out of a Toronto,Ontario, Canada GM Dealership new and has sat for more thirty years in storage. Also this car is said to have some very rare options for a Copo.

How many of these Copo Camaros were sold new in Canada. I believe there was another Copo Camaro from Ontario,Canada that is raced in F.A.S.T. Drags.

I don't think any true numbers are know for any model Camaro. But one's best chance of locating info is on cars sold in Canada... CRG only says they were, in fact, also sold in Canada. They do list a number of US dealers. But no Canadian. You can get on the forums there and get some good info from the guys that were actually there!

You also have to know what COPO number, i.e. 9561, 9560, '69 Yenkos, and/or 9737 to know total production of each, which was 1015, 69, 199(201?), and unknown(?) respectively (source: http://www.holisticpage.com/camaro/camaros/copo.htm).

Some other COPO info:

I could have sworn there was a web page with a registry. Maybe that was just for the ZL1s.?.?

Drooling over the ZL1s. It will be my next car if I can manage to pull it off...
