Speculation as to what may be offered on a 1LE for 2015??

With the 2015 order guide approaching, I started thinking what (if) would Chevrolet add or delete form the 2014 SS's and more specifically with the 1LE option. For example, one could order a dealer installed ZL1 front brake package on a 2014. How about Chevrolet making it a factory installed option, with a lower overall cost??

And I think we can rule out a LS7 option!
Thoughts.....

Doubt there will be any changes except for the new colours. A brake package would be sweet on the 1LE. But they way it looks is status quo. I could be wrong but that's how I see it.

BUT they may have some special edition for the last year of the 5th gen. I could see that, but it would just be a visual package to dress up a model.
That's my two cents.

I was on the chevy site the other day building a camaro just for the fun of it and now there are check boxes for things like you stated. There is an option that can be added to add the ZL1 front brakes to your car. I think the 1LE was excluded from this though because then the front brake calipers won't match the rears in terms of color.

You might want to go online and check out the build pages again.

The upgraded brakes were there earlier this year.

They "could" add options from the Z/28 - like non-powered Recaros, aero package, suspension, etc. Only seems fit that a "track oriented" car try to get the best of the best track oriented parts from the Z/28 camaro. But then they might take too much from the Z/28 I guess. Another option I'd like (If I were in the market for a '15 1LE) is the z/28's track spoiler and splitter.

I've built a 1LE there and it accepts it

Here is my experience with the GM websight. I built the car with the options that I wanted and printed it out. Went to place my order, saw the screen to verify my options, and some were deleted out, just not available! No big deal, still got 99.9999999% of BAD ASS 1LE! Ordered on 3/3/14 and according to GM my order status is a 6000, which means that I have taken delivery and I have not! Overall it has been an awesome experience. My wife doesn't understand that I have all of these parts and no car!

I forgot to speculate, pretty much the same until the big change, completely different factory and all. Coming from a '69 Z28, I love the current body style, lights and all!

I hope it is a 2 year run like the Boss 302, they haven't dropped in value at all. 1/2 the reason I got the 1LE, new with warranty.

I would love to see a 1LE-2 or 2LE option featuring the parts found on the on the V8 SEMA Concept. Adding to/or replacing 1LE components with: ZL1 front brakes, ZL1 side skirts, Z/28 rear diffuser, Z/28 rear spoiler...

Rear view. This is how a 1LE should look. C'mon GM do it for 2015 and make more money for yourselves.
